- continues to grow. Spanish designer Josep Mora has combined
the two solutions in his latest eco-friendly design, a hybrid
sports car that incorporates a folding bike into its structure.

Dahon California, Inc., the world leader in folding bicycles,
today announced a $3,000 donation to Trips for Kids, a non-profit
organization that provides mountain bike outings and environmental
education for under-privileged children. Dahon's donation will
help the national organization supply needed materials to groups
starting up local chapters of Trips for Kids.

the concept of Trixi Groups bike delivery service in Barcelona,
Spain. Putting a spin on conventional bike rentals from a shop,
Trixis delivery service brings the bike to the customer
taking reservations either online or by phone. We want
to make it easy for our customers. By bringing the bike to them,
they dont have to waste time looking around for a shop,
says Trixi Group president Gerald Caspari. We want to
be the Easy-Rent-a-Car of bikes.

A happy new year and hearty hello to everybody! Although we
had record sales in 2003, we can't wait to put war, natural
disasters, and SARS (hopefully) behind us. We're incredibly
excited about our 2004 product range - by far our best collection
of bikes ever. We have loads of new technology, some exciting
design partnerships, and hundreds of improvements to show you.
Many of the improvements we've made to our bikes were suggested

Dahon and Ritchey Team Up to Offer Portable Road Bikes

Dahon California, Inc., the world's leading manufacturer of
folding bicycles, today announced it has entered into a licensing
agreement with Ritchey Design, Inc., a leading bicycle frame
and component innovator. Dahon will use Ritchey designed frames
for a new line of portable 700C performance road bikes. The
frames feature patented Ritchey technology that allows the frames
to be split apart for easy transportation.

Joe Murray, a two-time mountain bike National Champion and original
member of the Mountain Bike Hall of Fame. Joe Murray will work
with Dahon to design a line of full-size portable mountain bikes.
The first bikes, scheduled for 2004 introduction, will consist
of hardtail mountain bikes with classic Joe Murray geometry
and design details.

today announced record first half 2003 results. Unit volumes
grew by 38% compared to the first half of 2002. Dahon produced
and sold an all time record high 90,000 folding bicycles in
the first half of 2003 compared to 65,000 units in the first
half of 2002.
Dahon UK Folding Bike Sales Boosted by London Congestion

Dahon California, Inc., the world's leading manufacturer of
folding bicycles, today announced that UK sales had jumped more
than 40% over the year earlier period since the implementation
of the London congestion charge. Put into effect on February
17, 2003 the London congestion charge requires motorists to
pay £5 for driving within the city center. The objective
is to reduce gridlock in the city and encourage people to use
alternative forms of transportation. |
