It is an accepted fact that small wheels do not roll as well over
road imperfections as larger wheels. That's not a problem if you
ride on well paved roads. But few of us spend all of our time on
perfect roads and that's when suspension becomes very important
for comfort. Suspension can take many forms: suspension forks, fat
tires, suspension seat posts, and even built in flex in the frame.
But almost all involve significant compromises in (additional) weight
- and that's not a good thing for a folding bike.
Enter our custom suspension hub, with 12mm of stiction free diagonal
travel and weighing only 170 grams. The design is ingeniously simple,
with a built in ultra-sensitive elastomer to absorb even the smallest
of vibrations. Retrofittable to all compact Dahon's. 28H. 74mm OLD.
Requires radial lacing.
