| The drool started flowing the
first time we set our eyes on the Syntace VRO handlebar system.
Racers and bike industry insiders know that Syntace make incredibly
light but brutally strong stems and bars. Syntace is a small
German company renowned for their obsessive attention to detail,
backed up by the infamous Red Monster testing machine. The Syntace
VRO handlebar system includes a Syntace bar and adjustable bar
clamps. The adjustable bar clamps allow riders to adjust the
height and reach of their bars for a perfect fit. The Syntace
VRO system replaces the MicroAdjust stem we offered last year.
Compared to the MicroAdjust stem, the VRO system is substantially
stiffer, more than 300 grams lighter, and doesn't require adjustment
before folding. |
