| Our Rolf Prima® Accel™
wheels have earned a well-deserved reputation as the lightest,
fastest, and strongest 20" wheels on the market. But an
ultra stiff and strong wheel paired with a stiff frame and high-pressure
race tires can add up to a harsh ride on uneven roads. We were
forced to think far outside the box to solve this problem. Our
solution was to develop a wheel around an ingenious, custom-built,
suspension hub. The hub provides 12mm of butter-smooth travel.
Suspension is extremely sensitive because the hub moves in the
same path that force from a road deformity would impact the
wheel. The hub is easily tuned with hard and soft elastomers
for different riding styles. We added our Kinetix ProLite Niobium
alloy rims and double butted spokes. We call our new wheel the
Kinetix Pro S, and its ability to effortlessly soak up vibrations
and stay glued to the road over less than perfect conditions
is simply breathtaking. |
