Slick Cables |
 |
The force required at the lever
to activate braking, is determined by cable routing and quality
of the cables. Lower force is better because it means a safer
ride for younger and older riders and easier brake modulation
for all riders. To minimize braking force, we only use slick
brake cables: slick cables are manufactured like traditional
cables and then the outer surface is machined smooth to reduce
friction. |
