The ProLite Telescope™ handlepost is quite simply, the lightest, strongest and sexiest folding stem on the market. Fabricated from forged and CNC machined aluminum, it is 270 grams lighter than its steel counterpart. It features a patented new InSide™ latching mechanism that hides everything entirely inside the hinge so all you see are the clean lines of the forged base. The Telescope™ feature lets riders adjust the handlebars up or down for the perfect riding position. New for 2004 is a welded base and tube interface that improves stiffness and durability.
