STEP 1: DECIDE HOW YOU RIDE

The first step in choosing your folding bicycle is to decide what type of riding you'll be doing. We offer folding bikes in six different categories. * Model availability differs by region.

CITY
Fast and convenient urban mobility. Perfect for quick errands around town, a jaunt to the nearest Starbucks, or a leisurely ride in the park. The emphasis is on comfort and convenience. Dahon's city folding bikes are also ideal as secondary transportation stashed in your car, boat, or RV. City models fold small so they are perfect if you live in an apartment or dorm room.

COMMUTER
Purpose built for public transport commuters who need a folding bicycle that folds fast, folds small, and is light enough to carry across a train station. Of course, every commuter has slightly different needs so we offer a large variety of models. Some are ultra light and compact for relatively short rides and crowded trains while others are better suited to long, fast rides.

SPORT
Designed for serious recreation and training - anything from an all-day ride to bicycling vacation tours. Our Sport folding bicycles are packed with our newest patented technology, advanced frame materials and construction, and performance components. If you ride far and want to ride fast, these are the bikes for you.

TOURING
Built for serious touring with comfortable geometry, durable components, and braze-ons for racks and fenders.
