SuperOversize Seat Post
Our Dahon bikes all have very low frame designs which require an extra long seat post to accommodate tall riders. Rather than simply use a standard diameter seat post with extra thick tubing (which some manufacturers do with obscenely heavy seat posts) we pioneered SuperOversize 34mm diameter seat posts. The larger diameter of the tubing dramatically improves strength, allowing us to increase the length of the post without increasing wall thickness.
