Cables and housing are one of the most overlooked parts on a bike but they are critical to function. And they are one of the easiest places to cut corners because cheap and high quality cables are virtually indistinguishable. But one pull on the brake levers will tell you the real story. Our Premium bikes use LiveWire cable housing that is extremely compression resistant. We also use special Slick cables that are machined on their outer surface so that there is less friction with the cable housing. The cables are also pre-stretched so that your brakes and gears stay in adjustment longer. The net result is silky smooth shifting and braking.
