Not only are SRAM Gripshifters intuitive to use, they also deliver very precise shifting. Perhaps more importantly they are much less prone to damage when your bike is folded and getting knocked about. Believe it or not, some folding bicycle manufacturer's still use archaic top-mounted thumbshifters.
